Dr. John A. Merrill graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 1983. He maintains a full time practice in Northern Michigan. His extensive training includes the Pankey Institute, Louisiana State University esthetic continuums, and Orognathic Bioesthetics International. John has served as a mentor for the Schuster Center, and was a teaching partner with ProPartners Consulting Group. He is a trained coach and facilitates numerous national study clubs and coaches individual dentists around the country. He is accredited by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. John is actively involved with his five children and enjoys sailing, motorcycling, and barefoot water-skiing.     Natalie, Jennifer and Kim—John’s team—have a passion for dentistry. Partnering in treatment resulting in improved overall health, beautiful smiles and lasting relationships, fuels the passion. Learning how to provide care at this level has come from spending many hours at most of the same high levels of continuing education as John. His dedication to having a team as skilled and caring as he is means continually staying abreast of the most current treatments available and having team members who relate to each patient as friends.
